We researched on the internet and found out which recored label signs Lady Gaga, we found out that it was "Cherry Tree Records" that she works with. Through our research we found out that she has now moved from "Cherry Tree Records" and now works with a different record label. However when she released "Beautiful Dirty Rich" she was with "Cherry Tree Records" therefore we thought it would be best to seek permission from thoses. So we composed an e-mail giving the record label all of the information that they needed, because we would like to use Lady Gagas song in the back of out music video and we will not be publishing the song in any way or posting it on the internet, then the record company should be okay with this and give us permission.

My name is Emily Roberts and i am currently studying A2 Media at the NEW Academy, Wolverhampton, England. My course enables me and my team to create our own music video. We have decided that we would like to use Lady Gagas Beautiful Dirty Rich as the backing ttack to our video, however copyright laws state that we mjust seek permission from the record label.
